This past weekend I went up to Frost Valley and helped clean up Biscuit Creek and the Neversink River. Driving there was interesting. My normal route is completely gone...there's a 52ft wide crevice in the road now. The towns I would drive through on Rt 28 are mostly washed out and condemned. I'm not sure if I mentioned it here or not, but Hurricane Irene hit Frost Valley extremely hard. Frost Valley is my childhood and my adulthood. I've been going there for 25 years and my family has been going for over 35 years. I was so excited to share it with Colton and Daphne this past May and hope to go every year with them.
